Stephani Morgan / LMSW, CCM

Clinical Director, Social Worker and Certified Case Manger

Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) 

Stephani Morgan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker , Certified Case Manager, and certified brain injury specialist who has been working in the Grand Rapids area for 12 years.  Stephani received her masters degrees from Grand Valley State university in Social work but also has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, fellowship completion in infant and maternal health, and post graduate training in medical social work, trauma based therapy, and child play therapy, and specialization in treating those with acquired brain injuries. This diverse educational background allows Stephani to treat clients from all walks of life. Stephani specializes in psycho-social therapy and case management services for individuals with traumatic brain injuries.  Stephani provides services for children and adults and excels with clients with complex behavioral needs. Stephani also provides case management services to individuals with traumatic brain injuries and excels in working with clients with complex psychiatric and mental health presentations.

Lisa Rodriguez / MS, BCBA

Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Rehab Case Manager

Lisa Rodriguez is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst who has worked in the Grand Rapids area for five years. Lisa’s undergraduate degree was in psychology and Lisa received her masters degree from The University of California Riverside in education and went on to pursue her certification as a Board certified Behavior Analyst. Lisa specializes in providing home-based behavior analytic services to individuals with traumatic brain injuries and their families.  Lisa provides services for children and adults and has experience working with families with unique circumstances and needs. Lisa also provides case management services and specializes in coordinating care for clients that have more complex behavioral and mental health related impediments that interfere with their rehabilitation progression.

Lisa Grabiel / MS, OTRL, CCM

Occupational Therapist and Certified Case Manager

Lisa Grabiel, MS, OTRL, CCM has been an occupational therapist for 9 years. Lisa graduated in 2010 from Michigan State University with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and specialization in Health Promotion. She graduated from Western Michigan University in 2012 with a Master degree in Science of Occupational Therapy. Lisa has 4 years experience in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, intensive care units including neonatal, pediatrics, and adult populations working in the Metro Detroit area at Beaumont Hospitals. Over the past 5 years Lisa has worked as a home and community-based occupational therapist in West Michigan focusing on the brain injury population and clients recovering from various neurological disorders. She enjoys working with the pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations with brain injuries. Lisa uses a psychosocial approach and creates client-centered goals to meet each individual's functional needs within their environment. She loves to collaborate with each client, their families, and members within the community to achieve the highest level of independence and function. Lisa is also well versed in performing attendant care assessments and home modification assessments. Lisa also provides case management services and her kinesiology and health promotion background allows her to provide comprehensive care coordination to clients with complex physical injuries.

Timothy Prescher

Director of Operations

Tim Prescher | Director of Operations | Therapy Center for Behavioral Health and Rehabilitation Services LLC. Tim is a Med. Retired U.S. Army Infantryman and is a decorated war verteran. As a sergeant in the US Army Tim led soldiers on multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. His time overseas has exposed him to countless cultures, providing him with exceptional insight,  cultural competence and compassion for people from all walks of life. Tim’s leadership skills are beyond reproach and his first hand knowledge,experience and understanding of the rehabilitation world has allowed him to become a tremendous asset to TCBHRS. Tim manages all financial, marketing, human relations, and operational responsibilities here at TCBHRS.

Lisa Beard, MS, PT

Certified Case Manager, Physical Therapist

Lisa Beard, MS, PT has been a Physical Therapist for 19 years. She graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2003 with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. She then completed a Pediatric Fellowship at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital, working on the inpatient and outpatient teams and conducting research through the Gait Lab. She has taught at Grand Valley State University both as an adjunct and guest lecturer as well as assisting in the lab component of the Neuro classes. She has extensive experience in pediatrics, brain injury and spinal cord injury. Her professional interests and specialties include cranial sacral therapy, manual therapy, play based interventions and chronic pain. Lisa has worked across settings, including inpatient, outpatient and home and community based settings with people with brain injury. She is knowledgeable and well-versed in systems and has a passion for advocating for her patient's needs. Lisa also provides case management services and her work background allows her to provide comprehensive care for people with complex injuries.

Rochelle Gerwatowski, LLMSW

Social Worker, Rehab Case Manager​

 

Rosy Gerwatowski is a Limited Licensed Social Worker with a master's degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University. She specializes in treating clients that have Acquired Brain Injuries. Her therapeutic approach includes early intervention, motivational interviewing, and evidence-based practices. With over three years of experience, Rosy has worked with individuals facing substance abuse, children from families affected by addiction, and individuals with disabilities. She currently focuses on supporting clients with traumatic brain injuries (TBI), helping them navigate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral challenges and aiding in their rehabilitation and reintegration into daily life. Rosy is also well versed in treating clients with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, cognitive deficits, emotional regulation difficulty, and social safety awareness limitations.  Rosy is also very adapt at working with and on interdisciplinary teams and is always ready and willing to collaborate for the best interest of the client.

Corey Milburn| B.S.

Corey Milburn is an experienced Behavioral Health Technician with a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Western Michigan University. He is skilled in assisting qualified Health Care Providers that specialize in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), mental health care, and training delivery. Corey has extensive experience working with diverse clientele, using evidence-based strategies to support behavioral and mental health needs. He is dedicated to providing client-centered care and fostering positive outcomes in mental health and well-being. Corey is also a competent and capable tutor and cognitive training specialist. Corey offers rehab specialist interventions for tutoring, cognitive skill building and intervention.
